Reading is one of my favorite pastimes… Yes, kitty models read! My life is not only quick quips on social media. I also dear getting lost in the pages of a good book, and here are 15 of my very favorite reads — all of them highly recommended for both cats and professional pet assistants.
1. National Geographic Field Guide to the Birds of Due north America ($19, amazon.com)
Because I've e'er enjoyed locally sourced nutrient. This field guide is a must for whatsoever serious feline chef.
I suppose you could also apply it for birding too.
2. Bird by Bird: Some Instructions on Writing and Life ($9.72, amazon.com)
Speaking of birds, I reread this volume at least once a year. Aye, it's that good. Information technology's filled with lots of practical advice for writers and will make y'all laugh along the way.

I turn to this book whenever I demand inspiration. It's filled with lovely, luxuriant pictures on every aspect of Chanel — apparel, jewelry, accessories, makeup, fragrance — from throughout the brand's storied history.

9. A Hundred Summers ($7.89, amazon.com)
Set in 1938 Rhode Island, this story revolves around a well-to-exercise family's secret and a cataclysmic storm.
10. Unlimited: A 3-Footstep Plan for Achieving Your Dreams ($xi.68, amazon.com)
This book made an impression on me. I remember reading it and feeling like I could handle my hectic life better. I felt like Jillian was right there talking to me like a life coach. It'south not really a conditioning book. It'south more about personal growth and self-comeback.
11. Are Yous In that location God? It's Me, Margaret ($4.44, amazon.com)
I remember reading this coming-of-historic period story 200 times when I was a kitten. It'south about a daughter navigating adolescence and growing up, so again I'm non exactly the target market, but Judy Blume has a wonderful style with words.
This ane'due south a throwback to a time when teen fiction didn't have to involve games of death or dystopian societies. It'due south a very elementary, sweet story. Highly recommended.

On the surface, this book is just a story about a bunch of young people partying, but Hemingway was besides a cat lover, and that's really all you need to know.
13. Miles of MAC ($24.77, amazon.com)
This feast for the eyes is another ane of my favorite coffee table books. It's these huge, brilliant pictures of past MAC campaigns, and flipping through information technology gives you a gorgeous visual history of the brand.
14. Makeup Makeovers in 5, x, fifteen, and 20 Minutes: Expert Secrets for Stunning Transformations ($14.49, amazon.com)
This book has pace-by-stride instructions on lots of downwards-to-world makeup looks. I don't know how many of them tin can actually be done in 20 minutes, just maybe if you lot were super organized and skilful them a bunch of times.
I don't know, though, because my assistant ordinarily does my makeup.
15. Vegetable of the Solar day (Williams-Sonoma): 365 Recipes for Every Twenty-four hours of the Year ($24.51, amazon.com)
I'm a carnivore, plainly, so I got this book for my banana, merely she loves it. She reads information technology every nighttime earlier bed.
